Price Menu below is My Tax Guy’s upfront and honest estimate of where you can expect your actual tax preparation cost to be.
Please keep in mind every tax return is unique and different – therefore, upon review of your prior year tax return provided and current year information if My Tax Guy determines that your category you selected for deposit may be incorrect or if your preparation cost will exceed the range estimate in your category selection, we will reach out to you to let you know in advance of completing preparation.
Deposits made in your category reserve your spot to have your return prepared, and are credited to the final actual cost of your services rendered – your TaxCaddy user account is free to you as My Tax Guy picks up the cost once we are linked for tax preparation.

We handle many tax returns at all levels of complexity, but, the list below should help you know where you stand before we take on your tax preparation.
Remember, a real CPA with nearly 20 years of experience is working on your tax return!
Individual Taxes - Base Level Return
This level is for single and joint filers with no dependents or complexities. You may have a few W-2s or retirement 1099s, a rent certificate and a 1099-INT for bank interest you received for example.
A $100.00 deposit is required to start the tax filing process with MyTaxGuy.
Individual Taxes - Mid-Level Tax Return
This level is for single and joint filers that have dependents and items from the base level plus an investment account 1099 and/or certain credits (child tax, energy, college) for example.
A $100.00 deposit is required to start the tax filing process with MyTaxGuy.
Individual Taxes - Self-Employed
Self-employed person tax return (small business sole proprietors of various industries) this level encompasses the Mid-Level tax return plus a Schedule C business reporting or you receive a K-1 from your business. Reach out to us for a more exact fee estimate and to discuss your business.
Custom Level
